Mel T,
Great guide to implementing positive self-affirmations in your daily life。 I love the concept of coffee self-talk as a way to always find time for self-encouragement。 The book offers plenty of examples of positive affirmations that can be used for any situation you may find yourself in。
Kat,
Not a bad book。 Just not new。 If you've read one book about daily affirmations, you've read this one。 I did like her passion, but the repetition got to me after a while。 Not a bad book。 Just not new。 If you've read one book about daily affirmations, you've read this one。 I did like her passion, but the repetition got to me after a while。 。。。more

Katie Murphy,
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC! Being a coffee lover I was instantly drawn to this book。 This is a great book if you are looking for inspiration and some daily motivation。 Coffee is a ritual of mine, but I did find the book a bit cheesy。 The book also pointed out one that it may appear this way as well (haha)。 This book was rooted in psychology, habit creating, and manifesting。 I don’t think I was in the right mindset to take away anything valuable from this book, but for t Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC! Repeative
Stacy,
I think this book is a great concept and I wanted to like it but I kept struggling with it。 I felt she was just repeating herself over and over and didn't really give me anything I didn't already know。 The author is definitely all in and was a little too much for me。 It felt like she was yelling at me do this or else。#NetGalley I think this book is a great concept and I wanted to like it but I kept struggling with it。 I felt she was just repeating herself over and over and didn't really give me anything I didn't already know。 The author is definitely all in and was a little too much for me。 It felt like she was yelling at me do this or else。#NetGalley 。。。more
Megan Hansen,
I really didn't learn anything, it was like her own personal diary of affirmations that I could have gotten in Pinterest。 I would love some more context on why scientificly this works。 I really didn't learn anything, it was like her own personal diary of affirmations that I could have gotten in Pinterest。 I would love some more context on why scientificly this works。 。。。more
Kelly Pramberger,
I love coffee and positive affirmations。 I drink coffee daily so the title of this book and the cover made me curious。 Thanks to NetGalley for the copy to read and review!I enjoyed the beginning of the book when the author was setting up the idea between drinking your morning coffee and combining self-talk to be read while doing so。 I'm very familiar with this language so it was an easy read for me。 I especially liked the sample scripts at the end of the book。 They were helpful for seeing ideas I love coffee and positive affirmations。 I drink coffee daily so the title of this book and the cover made me curious。 Thanks to NetGalley for the copy to read and review!I enjoyed the beginning of the book when the author was setting up the idea between drinking your morning coffee and combining self-talk to be read while doing so。 I'm very familiar with this language so it was an easy read for me。 I especially liked the sample scripts at the end of the book。 They were helpful for seeing ideas on what to say to yourself while making a self-talk routine。I am giving the book five stars because I appreciate the easy way in which the book is structured and I believe it would make a good gift for someone that desires to begin a morning routine of gaining confidence and belief in themselves。 。。。more
Anna Francois,
Painfully redundant。
Nicole Kelley,
A book I will refer back to again and again。 Great advice on daily habits that are good for the soul。
Bethany Fisher,
Some good ideas on self talk and a relatable author。 I agree with some other reviews that parts felt repeated but overall it was a good read and some good advice
Faith,
A must read! I am so thankful to have picked up this book。 Lots of great information and I've been able to create a very lengthy self talk script。 Highly recommended。 Highly encouraged。 It will truly be life changing if you put in the work。 A must read! Brittany,
Nice idea。 But could have been two chapters。 I felt like I was reading the same stuff over and over and over again。 It took me months to finish
Monte Brogdon,
While I found this book helpful and insightful, I also found it repetitive。 Overall, it is still worth a read because it offers great insight into self-talk and creating good habits。I received this in exchange for an honest, unbiased review via NetGalley
Jenny,
Read it, do it!
Barbara,
I have heard of self-talk before - athletes do it constantly by visualizing completing their goal, basket, shot, or finish line。 I love how she broke it down into manageable bites for each topic。 You can customize your own self-talk for what you want and desire your life to be。 I love it。 I started on writing my own。 (I did start by using snippets of her examples first。 Then I got brave enough to write my own!) As a teacher, you sometimes get caught up in a whirlwind of activities, forgetting about yourself。 Alright, many times this happens。 I love the idea of starting your day with a few minutes over a cup of coffee to reaffirm you and what you are。 A great way to start the day。 Excellent book with excellent suggestions for anyone。 Looking forward to her cup of tea book。 。。。more
faten,
I was very excited to read this book, I liked the name of the book and the cover very much, but 80% of the ideas and words are repeated, I was bored。 The book could have been much less without repetition, which I liked the idea and linking coffee with positive affirmations I will implement。
Georgina Harwood,
Just not worth the reading time
Katie,
Great self help readThanks for writing this book。 I have already started reading a few scripts per day and started to add my own spunk。 I’ve already noticed a slight difference in my outlook on life and my attitude。 Looking forward to reading your other books。
Renetta Neal,
I really enjoyed reading this book and knew I needed help with my self-talk, I hadn't realised how negative I was about myself and how I started my day off with such negative messages。 In just a couple of months I have noticed a change in my use of words and coffee self-talk has become a regular part of my routine in the mornings, it replaces smoking so I feel healthier and now I think healthier too! Barbara Schulze,
must readThe book is delightfully written, funny and has lots of short humorous stories that are enjoyable。 It’s got some great tips on an leveled up version of visualization and affirmations。 I hope I level up much more after reading this book, I’m already feeling more positive and that’s after doing my own coffee self talk for a few days。
Michele Newcomb,
I overall enjoyed the book and found some things I can use in my daily self-talk。 I enjoyed how the author used examples of what she does in her self-talk to help the reader understand how much self-talk truly helps and how easy it can be to do。 I like how she gives example self-talk to help you get started if your not sure what to say to yourself。 I look forward to trying these tips out myself in my journey to making myself feel better about myself and be more positive
LemontreeLime,
Sweet, but could have been a much shorter book with same message?
Mikaela Tan,
LUV: Great, practical tips on how to affirm and manifest CONS: Concepts can be grasp in 10 pages; felt like the author extended it for too long。
Ashley,
Already got my PowerPoint slide show made so I can have a visual guide to help me remember my self-talk quotes!

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 The tone of this book is very perky which is great for a self-help book。 I appreciate that the book encourages you to stack a habit that you already do with a habit that you want to add to your life。 The scripts at the back of the book at great for giving you a starting point on your affirmations script。 I also really appreciate how the book encourages you to use your affirmations and positive mind-set throughout the day。 The one thing that I would change about the book is its repetitive nature。 The tone of this book is very perky which is great for a self-help book。 I appreciate that the book encourages you to stack a habit that you already do with a habit that you want to add to your life。 The scripts at the back of the book at great for giving you a starting point on your affirmations script。 I also really appreciate how the book encourages you to use your affirmations and positive mind-set throughout the day。 The one thing that I would change about the book is its repetitive nature。 Though this made the book clear, it was also redundant at times。 。。。more
